If you are reading this and you are in Seminyak, change your dinner plans and make your way to Black Door! A Welcoming team await you! We walked past Black Door a few times during the first week of our stay and why we didn’t stop in sooner, we have no idea! But, we put this on our list and tonight was a true delight, we felt immediately welcome and settled-in to our experience with our cocktails 🍸 Grapefruit Cooler & Rosella Pisco Sour . We started our gastronomical experience with The Chilli Oil Dumplings 🌶️ and it got our tastebuds ready for what was to come! The Crispy Pork Belly was accompanied by rice and traditional fresh flavours to add to every bite … The Rendang also came with rice and the flavours were a full 360 with the right kinda heat 🌶️ that us two Sicilians appreciate. What we love about our experiences so far with most of the traditional dishes we’ve had during our stay is that they haven’t compromised the spectrum of flavours like we’ve noticed some other restaurants do and destroy traditional flavours… Black Door has kept their flavours as true as possible, and we are so grateful they have!! Our sparking mineral water refreshed our pallets to prepare for dessert, we thought we’d explore the crepes and wow 💥 another absolute tastebud explosion (Crepe A L’ Orange & Crepe Nutella) - accompanied by our caffè Latte made at the right temperature 65 degrees and not destroyed by over boiled milk. The Black Door team were engaging and attentive throughout our entire experience Thank you to all the team 🫶🏼 Terima Kasih 🙏🏼

I had a very nice meal, the springrolls were very tasty. I had porkribs and tigerprawns. And finished it of with an incredible panna cotta, soft as silk. They have two islands sauvignon. Prices are low to midrange. Atmosphere iscrelaxed and a dj takes good care of the ambiance. Seating is wonderful and comfortable. Staff is ultra friendly. The chef knows his stuff! This restaurant comes highly recommended.

Visited this place in 2025. Returned Jul 2026 but was unable to find it - they has revamped the facade/entrance a little that made me doubt my memory. Managed to confirm it was the same restaurant after looking at the menu… Local fare was great - the pork belly… omg. Service was friendly and welcoming. They were thrilled when I could remember the previous entrance/layout from last year.

Beautiful cafe. One of the yummiest dumplings I have had. The kids thoroughly enjoyed their Alfredo's pasta as well. And the grilled cheese. A beautiful cafe as well.

These restaurant stand out in a very good way! Delicious food and professional service. We have eaten here multiple times and always enjoyed the whole experience. Great menu and excellent kitchen. Personally i also appreciate the details in the presentation plates and overall ambiance. I highly recommend Black door for great dining with their very welcoming staff. 🫶🏻
