Bambu Bali was an amazing dinner experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is beautiful, elegant, and incredibly inviting, making it the perfect place for a special evening. The waitresses were friendly, attentive, and very helpful throughout the entire dinner, adding to the overall experience. But the real highlight was the food it was simply beyond expectations. Every dish was beautifully presented, full of flavor, and perfectly executed. The combination of the stunning setting, excellent service, and outstanding food made the evening truly memorable. Definitely a restaurant I would highly recommend and a place I would happily return to on my next visit to Bali.

Amazing meal! Every dish was incredible with very good flavours and texture as well. All seasoned well and cooked well. Presentation of each dish was great too. The complimentary crackers and sambal at the start too were really good. And of course top service here. Fine dining level of service but really good prices. Also the interior is really nice and a great vibe. Would come back again!

Delicious food served at a luxurious restaurant. On our trip to Bali we stopped here to have dinner on our first night. Walking into the restaurant was already a wow factor with its architecture, pools and how to staff greets you and walks you to the table. I have to apologize since I do not remember exactly what we ordered, what I do know however that it was incredibly delicious! We sat upstairs and had a great view of the restaurant below. The drinks were equally as wonderful as the food. The atmosphere and staff were all very inviting! The ambience was great as we talked and drank over great food and company and planned out our trip in Bali for the days ahead.

Bambu offers a beautifully immersive experience, celebrating the breadth of Indonesian cuisine within a space that showcases refined Indonesian design and craftsmanship. I began the evening with a frozen lime margarita, which was excellent — crisp, refreshing, and perfectly judged for a warm Seminyak night. To start, I ordered the Tumis Cumi Cabe Ijo (West Sumatra) — sautéed squid with green chilli and coconut sambal, green tomato, kaffir lime, and edamame. This was a standout starter: the squid was tender and well cooked, the flavours bright and aromatic, with a gentle heat from the green chilli balanced by the richness of coconut and the lift of kaffir lime. A beautifully composed dish that showcased regional flavour with restraint and confidence. For my main, I chose the Mie Hokkien Medan (North Sumatra) — house-made noodles wok-tossed with Angus beef, Asian mushrooms, bok choy, red cabbage, aromatic ginger, shallot, and chilli sauce. The beef was perfectly cooked — rich, tender, and full of flavour — and clearly high quality. The sauce was warming and aromatic, though the noodles themselves were a little softer than I’m accustomed to for this style, which slightly detracted from the overall texture for me. Service throughout the evening was genuinely excellent. The staff were attentive, kind, and unfailingly polite — warm without being intrusive — and every interaction felt thoughtful and sincere. The interior design is impressive and distinctly Indonesian, adding a strong sense of place to the experience. That said, dining outdoors in the Balinese heat is not for the faint-hearted, and something to keep in mind when choosing where to sit. Overall, Bambu delivers a thoughtful, regionally inspired dining experience with excellent service and a strong identity. A restaurant well worth visiting in Seminyak.

One word, WOW. From the moment we arrived to when we left the restaurant we felt well looked after and very welcomed. We didn’t have a reservation and they found us a table. They asked if we are celebrating anything and we told them we are on our honeymoon. They went over and above with everything. Food highlights was the crispy pork and bamboo lemongrass chicken. The vanilla pudding with mango was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want an excellent dining experience. I would give it more stars if i could!!
