Lovely place for a vegan breakfast. I had vegan pancakes with matcha cream, and they were quite unique, never had a pancake with that texture before. Bit heavy for me for breakfast though … I also got a cinnamon roll - which turned out to be a raw cake, something like a filling for baklava, so not actually bad, but also not a cinnamon roll I expected. Wish they told me it’s a raw cake when ordering, as I was really hoping for a fluffy cinnamon roll. Juice, coffee, and matcha latte were all good! Also, their garden is one of the best sitting areas I found in Canggu.
View on GoogleWe’ve been coming to Secret Spot for almost 2 years now and it is still our favorite spot for healthy vegan food. The Green Bush is one of the best vegan pizzas I’ve tried, the dough is puffy and crispy and the mix of flavors and textures is delicious. Spicy Pumpkin pizza, Shawarma, vegan Meatballs, Jackfruit nuggets and Matcha Pancakes are really good too. Their fresh juices, kombucha and Jamu are nice and they have a bunch of guilt-free’ish desserts and coffee. I wish they still made Kvas, an eastern-european fermented drink. We usually sit in the garden full of fruit trees and flowers, but for hot days they also have an A/C room. They sometimes have movie and music nights which is nice. The service is excellent and everyone is very positive, welcoming and knowledgable about the food. We usually stay longer to chat with Usri, our conversations are so fun and interesting:) The prices are fair for the food, place and service. Their operation hours became shorter for the low season, but I’m hoping that they will extend back as the season picks up again. Thank you Secret Spot for being here!:)
View on GoogleGreat service, the staff were very attentive but the food was very average. We found the Big Brekkie very under-seasoned and tasteless. The breakfast burrito was good, but nothing special. The outdoor area is dog-friendly and a very chill spot to hang out. I wouldn’t return for the food, but I would come back for a drink and to relax in the garden 🥰
View on GoogleThese were the best pancakes I ate. I loved the fact that they were not too sweet and could taste the banana. Everything was well balanced. Same for the falafel bowl. Staff was super nice. I truly enjoyed spending time there
