We had the best lunch at Santanera. The food was absolutely delicious and every dish was beautifully presented. The restaurant itself is stunning, filled with beautiful natural light and a warm, relaxed atmosphere. It’s such a lovely place to sit back and enjoy a long lunch. A special shoutout to Ketut (we miss you already!). He was incredibly sweet, attentive and genuinely lovely, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Amazing food (with vegetarian/vegan options) and delicious cocktails, beautiful space and exceptional service. We had such a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

My partner and I visited this restaurant for the first time after finding it on Google, where it was listed as one of the best restaurants in Canggu. It definitely lived up to the hype and did not disappoint. Our favorite dishes were the Woodfire baby squid and the ceviche mixto, both were absolutely delicious. We were also impressed by how attentive and friendly the staff were. They made sure we had a wonderful dining experience from start to finish. To make our anniversary even more special, they surprised us with a complimentary guava cake, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Overall, we had an amazing time and created some wonderful memories here. We highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

Probably my favourite restaurant in Canggu! The cocktails were easily some of the best I’ve had, and as a vegetarian, I was pleasantly surprised that they handed us a separate vegetarian menu. It wasn’t just a couple of token dishes either—they had a really thoughtful selection, which made ordering so much easier. We pretty much ordered almost every vegetarian dish on the menu because we were a big group, and honestly, there wasn’t a single disappointment. My absolute favourites were the Potato Mille-Feuille, Seaweed Cracker, Broccoli, Hazelnut & Goat’s Curd Tart, and the Labneh with their wood-fired potato bread. Most of the dishes are small plates, but every bite is packed with flavour and beautifully presented. For dessert, don’t skip the Churros. Crispy, warm, and served with dark chocolate, dulce de leche, and vanilla bean ice cream—they were incredible. The vibe is another highlight. It feels like a perfect mix of a stylish cocktail bar and a fine-dining restaurant without being too formal. They also have a beautiful rooftop that’s great for drinks and snacks before or after dinner. We were lucky to get a walk-in table, but I’d definitely recommend making a reservation because this place gets busy. If you’re vegetarian and visiting Canggu, this is one place you absolutely shouldn’t miss.

I had a really great dining experience at Santanera in Canggu. Every dish we ordered was excellent and full of character. The flavors were very special and memorable — not the kind of generic taste you can easily find elsewhere. You can really tell that a lot of thought and creativity goes into the food, and each dish felt unique and well-balanced. The quality of the ingredients was also very impressive. Everything tasted fresh, refined, and carefully prepared. On top of that, the service was smooth and attentive, and the overall atmosphere of the restaurant was beautiful and comfortable. Honestly, I have no complaints about this place — from the food to the service to the setting, everything was done very well. I would definitely recommend Santanera to anyone looking for a more special dining experience in Canggu.

Love the interior design. And the service is very good. They really take care of each customers. I have make a reservation earlier and keep changing the arriving time due to unforeseen circumstances. But they accommodate it. Appreciate their tolarance and arrangement. We were assigned to a seat that is not our preference but they allow us to change. The foods are tasty, we love the brocolini dish, and the mix to. The grouper also amazing. They do have a set with 1mil per person. But we choose to order ala carte. It's my partner birthday celebration and they gave a complementary birday dessert for each table. It's so kind of them. At the end we spent less than 2 mils with 2 sparkling wine, 1, sparkling water, a mocktail, a dessert, 3 snacks, 2 mains, 1 veggie and 1 mixto.
