Really disappointed to hear the opening hours are being reduced. I discovered Little Engine purely because it was the only place open at 7am in Canggu, and most days I stay until 4pm. It has genuinely become my base. The staff are outstanding. Nanda, Meri and Nofa are some of the warmest, most professional front of house I have encountered anywhere in Canggu, and Anggita, Sintya and Rama in the kitchen match them every time. The breakfast burrito with extra chicken is on permanent rotation for me, and the espresso is the best in the area, no contest. I have noticed it getting busier later in the day recently, which makes the decision to reduce hours surprising. I have run hospitality businesses myself and I understand the challenge of quiet periods, but I also know that cutting hours can become a slippery slope once it starts. Two suggestions worth considering: add drinkable smoothies to the menu, the ingredients are already there, and offer a whey protein option as an upsell. Gym regulars will pay the premium without hesitation. This team deserves more hours, not fewer. And if the owners are reading this, they probably deserve a pay rise too. Just saying. 😉

Got a couple of takeaway coffees from here, the coffee was very nice indeed. Friendly staff, nice air conditioned interior. Even got some nice messages on my takeaway brews. BAKED could learn a small lesson I feel. 😀

Super friendly staff, great food, and great coffee! The Big Engine Platter was a good portion for 88k IDR. Their sourdough toast is very soft and fresh. The poached eggs were cooked perfectly and the sausage has a little spice to it. The Caramel latte was good as well. I would highly recommend this place.

Came here for breakfast almost everyday, the eggs are beautifully scrambled, and the sourdough is the best sourdough we had on the island. Service was amazing, and food came out perfect every time

My best breakfast in Canggu! I've been having breakfast here every day since last year! The food is always delicious, and it's the cheapest breakfast in Bali! The staff very cute 🥰🥰🥰 And best hot Latte 🫶🏻
