I used to work just a few minutes away from Kawisari Coffee in Canggu, and the aroma of their coffee was always inviting. I would definitely recommend trying their coffee and bakery. Everything I tried was enjoyable, and the staff were always friendly and welcoming whenever I stopped by. A little interesting fact about Kawisari: the name comes from Kawisari Coffee Plantation in Blitar, one of the oldest coffee plantations in Indonesia, which is also owned by the same owner. Their Arabica and Robusta beans are sourced from the plantation and roasted at each Kawisari outlet, giving every cup a fresh and distinctive taste. If you're in Canggu and looking for a nice coffee spot, Kawisari Coffee is worth a visit.

Was abit sceptical initially but very good experience. Breakfast fast excellent. Big portions. Very good bacon. Good acai bowl. Fast service. Espresso was decent albeit not 100% my taste. 8/10 All in all a very very nice restaurant

Really liked Kawi Sari. The place has a simple, old-school charm that feels relaxed and genuine without trying too hard. The V60 was excellent, especially the Java Robusta Organic. It had a really distinct character and was easily the highlight for me. Definitely worth stopping by if you enjoy good coffee and a calm, unpretentious atmosphere.

sadly, my first experience wasn’t good, I hope the management reads this I chose to come here at 8am (over a well-known cafe that I was at yesterday) to hopefully experience the donutccino and the homey vibe of the place and reflect on my trip since it’s my last day in the area the interior is really beautiful but… when I ordered, the staff said the donutccino isn’t available and explained how it’s prepared and why it’s not available, then when I said I will just come back next time (I am the only customer btw), he said he will ask the cook then later came back and said there is still 2 that they can make while he was gone, I can’t help but be put off by the loud 2010s American pop music they are playing upstairs and also heard at the outdoor seating, it’s so out of place with the design and the menu with local history booklet… and also the cold AC hitting directly where I chose to sit ~~ this is all part of atmosphere I wanted to leave already because the vibe was off already, but I just wanted to give the drink a try, so I told the staff to lower the volume of the music and turn off the AC and… the donutccino was just okay, not sure if this is supposed to be the quality since the staff explained how it was unavailable in the first place… the coffee was lukewarm and the donut was a little hard… I told the staff that they should play Indonesian or slow music, since they are promoting local farmers and such, he said another guest also questioned their music choice before, he said it’s the owner’s decision I hope the management reads this and reconsider their service and overall vibe design P.S. I didn’t get to do my reflection, I left after having the drink

I saw this cafe since junior high school, at first I only saw it briefly and was interested but never tried to eat at kawisari, then after a long time, I saw someone reviewing kawisari and I started to be interested in coming! When I came, the ambiance was very nice, homey and calm. I tried their unique coffee, donuts were used as cups for coffee, and it turned out to be really good! I recommend you to try other menus, because I think they are also very affordable
