Without a doubt, this is one of the best Indian restaurants in Canggu, Bali. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the staff, who were friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making our dining experience memorable. The restaurant has a beautiful ambiance with a modern yet authentic Indian atmosphere. It is spotless, well-maintained, and offers comfortable seating, making it perfect for families, couples, or groups of friends. The food was simply outstanding. Every dish was freshly prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with authentic Indian flavors. The biryani was perfectly seasoned and incredibly aromatic, the curries were rich, creamy, and full of depth, the tandoori dishes were tender and cooked to perfection, and the freshly baked naan was soft, warm, and absolutely delicious. You can truly taste the quality of the ingredients in every bite. What made the experience even more special was the exceptional service. The staff were professional, attentive, and always available with a genuine smile, ensuring that everything was perfect throughout our meal without ever being intrusive. The prices are very reasonable considering the outstanding quality of the food, generous portion sizes, and exceptional level of service. The crispy pani puri was fun to eat, bursting with fresh and flavorful fillings, and the crunchy papad with mint chutney made a great appetizer. To top it all off, the refreshing drink was the perfect finish to the meal. Every dish was delicious, and the overall experience was fantastic. View on GoogleAunty Ji’s is a wonderful spot for authentic Indian comfort food in a warm and welcoming setting. The homey atmosphere immediately makes you feel at ease, making it a great place to slow down and enjoy a satisfying meal. The chicken biryani was flavourful and aromatic, with perfectly cooked rice and tender chicken, while the Punjabi samosa chaat delivered a delicious combination of crispy, tangy, and savory flavors. Both dishes were comforting and full of character. The highlight for me was the Thandai Milk Cake. It was incredibly soft, rich, and milky, with a delicate texture that practically melted in my mouth. Indulgent without feeling too heavy, it was the perfect sweet ending to the meal and something I’d happily order again. If you’re looking for flavorful Indian food served in a cozy, home-style environment, Aunty Ji’s is definitely worth a visit.
View on GoogleJust had dinner at Aunty Ji, and as someone who truly enjoys Indian cuisine, I can say this restaurant is genuinely unique. The interior feels elegant and romantic, creating a really pleasant dining atmosphere. We ordered the chicken masala, and it was outstanding—everything from the flavor to the portion size and presentation was on point. The pani puri is a must-try appetizer whenever you visit an Indian restaurant, and this one did not disappoint. The balance of sweet and tangy flavors was refreshing and delightful on the palate. The service was also excellent. The waitstaff were very friendly, provided clear explanations of the menu, and gave great recommendations on the most popular dishes. They suggested to have Pinacolada and whiskey sour as my meal companion and wow ..... soooooo good. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable Indian dining experience special who are staying at Canggu Area
