We went looking for the Balinese meatball noodle soup dish called Bakso but the warung on the main road was closed. A nearby shopkeeper took us around the corner for "good Bakso" at a small, local eatery called Bakso Pak Yono. We were the only non-locals in the place and got some puzzled looks, but the bakso was delicious and cost IDR20,000 per bowl. The owner doesn't speak English but if you know the words "ayam" (chicken) and "bakso", you're good to go. It's not a fancy place but the bakso is good and the owner is a nice guy.
