It’s mostly western burgers, pizza, pasta, and steaks—at western prices! That’s why discovering Warung Local was an absolute lifesaver. ​Here is why you shouldn't miss it: ​Food & Variety: Amazing selection served buffet/nasi campur-style so you can build your own plate, plus a full menu if you prefer ordering standard dishes. Great options for everyone! ​Prices & Value: Extremely fair prices for the quality and portion sizes you get. ​Drinks & Extras: Good selection of cold beers, cocktails, and even ice cream for dessert. ​Atmosphere & Cleanliness: There’s a beautiful, relaxing terrace in the back to sit and eat, and the restrooms are super clean. ​If you’re tired of overpaying for western food in Uluwatu and want delicious local flavor, this is the spot. Warung Local is a great spot if you’re looking for tasty local food at a reasonable price. The meals are full of flavour, made with fresh ingredients, and arrive quickly, even when it’s busy. The staff are friendly, and the relaxed atmosphere makes it an easy place to enjoy a casual meal. Whether you’re trying Indonesian cuisine for the first time or coming back for your favourite dishes, this is definitely a place that’s worth visiting.

Really good option if you’re looking for local food with good portions. The buffet has a nice variety and the portions are generous. The banana juice was really good, and the iced tea was also nice, although it was a little too sweet for me. The service is fast and pretty standard, but I have to give credit to the staff. They work hard and handle a lot of people in a short amount of time. The only downside was that some of the food could have been warmer. It seems like the buffet trays may not have enough heat underneath, so some dishes were a little less than warm. Overall, good local food, good portions, quick service, and a good place for a casual meal.

Of course, it’s not warung prices, but the taste and quality make it worth it. There’s a wide variety of dishes to choose from, whether you’re a meat lover, vegetarian, or vegan, so it’s a perfect spot to come with friends who have different preferences. The flavors are well balanced, portions are generous, and the presentation feels fresh yet authentic. The atmosphere is casual and welcoming, with friendly staff and a clean environment that makes dining here comfortable. It’s a nice way to experience Indonesian food with a modern twist, while still keeping the charm of traditional warung dining.

The food is cold and hard. I wanted to give it a 2nd try because first time it was also cold but the flavors were nice and the restaurant itself is cozy. I know the food would be so good, because the taste was good but they keep ”make your own plate” ingredients in regular bowl’s which makes the food obv cold if it stands there for a long time. Some of the dishes were so hard that I couldn’t eat it and was not tasteful. Restaurant is cozy in the evening but if your looking for warm and delicious food, you might want to look somewhere else.
