We had a wonderfully delicious breakfast here! And an even more fantastic Asian Fusion Cooking Class! My wife ordered the Crispy Corn Fritters with poached egg and I had the Raw Fish Avocado Toast, both were exceptional! Delicious breads and perfectly poached eggs, the tuna on my toast was really sushi grade, very good. As great as the breakfast was, our evening cooking class was even better. Headed by chef Mahfudh (who has previous Napa Valley experience in U.S.), but helped by a wonderful group of young French colleagues ( Fatou, Gaia, Lucas & Salome). This fun, but educational evening will probably end up being one of the most beautiful highlights of our 7 month trip around the planet. Chef Mahfudh starts the class by explaining very professionally the unique flavors and smells of the Asian spices and herbs that were all nicely organized on the table in front of us when we arrived. The class progresses throughout the evening in a lovely balanced, but organized fashion with time for questions and quite a bit of fun, step-by-step, after we all chopped and ground our spices (old style w/ volcanic rock pestle and plates) and proceeded to cook a wonderful Chicken Rendang, several Sambals, a Shrimp Fried Rice w/ Bok Choy & Sate Lilit (minced chicken on a Bamboo stick). Can't say enough about how wonderful and fun this class was! Chef was great to be sure, but our wonderfully kind and well mannered fellow assistants truly added to an incredible evening! And yes the food was amazing! The excellent live entertainment added to a great vibe also.

Came to relax in the garden over a cocktail during happy hour stayed for the food. The Nusantara menu was a journey through Indonesian flavors done with real precision. Nothing felt touristy or safe — every plate had intention behind it. One of the best meals of my trip.

I never thought I’d be happy that a beef rendang was sold out, but that’s what happened at Seed. We subbed in the vegetable tofu rendang instead, and it was top notch. We made our mains a veg smorgasbord and it delivered. The cauliflower was unreal - served with a cauliflower puree and lots of fresh herbs on top adding a great layer of freshness. We had the beans as a side, a lovely Asian black bean style sauce. We started with the chicken prawn gyozas in a laksa broth and the pumpkin soup. Both hit it out of the park. After starters and mains our mouths were buzzing with flavour. We finished with Nanda’s recommendation, the cocoa pod. The outer chocolate shell was thin and delicate, and a crack revealed the mousse inside. The praline and salted foam paired perfectly. It was a home run from start to finish. Safe to say it’s one of our best meals in Bali, and the service by Nanda was seamless - she was such a delight. Put this one on your must-visit list.

Staff is really lovely, location is great, we had a nice dinner under the garden lights and there was live music playing, a nice surprise. Food was good (mains better than the appetizers). I had a detox smoothie that tasted weird but I think that’s a given when ordering detox stuff lol

Food, service and atmosphere was excellent. The waitress recommended the market fish and it was superb. Had the potato cake which was the right amount of crisp, buttery potato layers and chipotle aoli. Started with the beef rendang and chicken bao again flavours were beautifully balanced and a Merlin ceviche with passion fruit which melted in your mouth. Fantastic experience
