Yes it's old, Yes you have to walk down a steep cliff, Yes you are sleeping in older beds and there may be no air-conditioning. Yes there's an unbeatable 20 million dollar view while you're laying in bed. Yes its one of the best surf breaks in the world.||Yes It's my favourite place after travelling all over the world.||Why, The beautiful locals from area all around Bingin, the hand cooked food, (which they carry by hand down those steep cliffs), The place is raw and It's real!||Not designed for fake 4 Star wannabe instagrammers, who's first question is when they arrive "Whats the wi fi code".||If that's you, don't go there. It breaks my heart to see idiots give this place a 1 star review.||I've been going there for over 20 years and will still be going there in another 20.||The juice is worth the squeeze.....||Mark B.

There is no road to the place so you have to carry all your stuff down the cliff via slippery and steep stairs for about 10 minutes.||Rooms are not clean and the place does not look anything like in the pictures. It needs proper renewal. Bathroom was also very bad. We booked a place via Booking so couldn’t cancel but we decided not to sleep in this place. They tried to offer ‘better’ room with AC but still it was very poor. And they asked for 600,000 IDR!!! Just up the cliff there are nice resorts where you can stay for the same price (we paid 250,000 IDR per night) and get clean nice rooms with pool.

One best thing- stunning view from terrace. It was first time in my life that I lived above ocean. Night I can hear ocean, watching sunrise and sunset, it was just wow!!!! Talking about rooms- o my god, my grandmother in village lives better. There was no hot water, bathroom dirty and wet. Even shower was just pipe from the wall. Bed- well, I think blanket hadn't been washed ever... towels smelled fresh, ok. Wi fi was good. Resume- they need a little bit invest in rooms and then it will be perfect location, without 5 star service and rooms, but with stunning location.

Very disappointing, had a good view but the room was below average and had paper thin walls and a disgusting bathroom. But what made it worse was the rats, poor hygiene of the kitchen and really pushy staff. My friends and I felt a constant pressure to buy meals yet the open kitchen set up made it a less than desirable option.. we saw meat being cut up covered in flies and the cooks picking nits out of each other's hair. It was literally a horror story of bad hygiene.. do not stay here. Seriously I'm not just being a prissy girl, this is literally the most uncomfortable place to stay

I love this place a lot. You stay in a bungalow made out of wood. The perfect Indonesian experience as it should be. The bungalows have a balcony, so when you step outside, the ocean is right there. Food is good, good portions and variety in menu. Room is basic with big bed and shower + toilet. Cold water but that is perfect because it cools you down. Recommend this highly !!
