We were super impressed by Masonry! Not going to lie, the menu seemed quite basic however after reading so many positive reviews, I made a reservation and I’m so glad we did!!! We ordered: Marinated olives - super generous serve but personally did not like the fennel flavour Octopus carpaccio - beautiful and fresh, heavy on the chimichuri which we would request on the side next time Wagyu dolma - flavour was unreal Smoked chicken - absolute highlight! Never had such juicy and flavorsome chicken before Fattoush Salad and Rice Pilat - simple yet absolutely delish Oven Baked cookie - a real treat but the burnt butter icecream was the hero for me.

Masonry is a modern lively restaurant in Ulawatu. The atmosphere was great with a large open plan busy kitchen turning out some great food. Co-owner and head chef Ben Cross has a terrific pedigree having been at Rae’s at Wategos Byron Bay, Rockpool and MG Garage and many other great restaurants. Cocktails list was extensive with nice twists on the classics. Service friendly, efficienct but not overbearing. Will definitely return to this gem.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing experience at Mansonry. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, with a stylish design and a great atmosphere. The service was outstanding, everyone was friendly, attentive, and professional. The food arrived quickly, which made the experience even better. Most importantly, every dish was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. One of the best dining experiences we had in Bali. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be back!

I came here for a solo dinner to take myself out. It’s not really a solo dining kind of place but I did know that going in. I firstly want to say thank you to all of the staff who were so friendly and accommodating. Since I was dining alone they made sure to make me feel welcome and converse with me, but not too much that I might feel uncomfortable and obligated. I really appreciate the balance they struck. I ordered 3 dishes for myself (which was honestly too much food): octopus carpaccio, spiced cauliflower, and the crusted tuna. I really loved the flavor on all of them, though my favorite was probably the spiced cauliflower followed by the tuna. The octopus carpaccio was maybe just slightly overly sauced and tangy, but still quite good. Thanks again to the staff for such a lovely meal and such warm service!

We sat at the bar as the restaurant was full, but had the most exceptional service from both the wait and bar staff. The bar staff talked us through the cocktails which was so great and we had the best food! I am coeliac and they were so helpful talking me through the menu ensuring everything I ordered was gluten free! Super yummy steak and the mash was amazing.
