I cannot recommend Laurent’s Fried Chicken & Waffle highly enough! This gem in Bali serves the best fried chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. The chicken is incredibly crispy and seasoned to perfection, with flavors that permeate through to the inside—not just the skin. The waffles are just as impressive. You can choose between thick, fluffy ones or thin, crispy ones, catering to every preference. Both options are fantastic and complement the chicken beautifully. The owner and staff are exceptionally friendly, making you feel right at home from the moment you step in. Plus, the music selection is always on point, adding to the overall enjoyable experience. I find myself returning at least every two weeks, and it never disappoints. If you’re in Bali and crave some outstanding fried chicken and waffles, Laurent’s is the place to go. Definitely recommended!

This isn’t just your basic fried chicken, it’s beyond what you’d expect and probably the best fried chicken I’ve ever had! I tried 3 of their menu items: fried chicken with waffles and honey butter, fried chicken with rice and sambal, and chicken burger. Everything was on point. The fried chicken was super tasty and crispy, yet still juicy on the inside. Writing this and already craving their fried chicken.

This is the best fried chicken I’ve ever had. The chicken is very crispy but also really juicy. They marinade the chicken for 24 hours so you can taste the richness of the flavor to the bones. It’s really addictive, I went there twice in four days. Totally recommended.

Laurent’s Chicken and Waffles Chicken & Waffles has been a comfort food favorite of mine for many years. So when I drove by Laurent’s spot, I had to check it out. As soon as I pulled up, the owner himself, greeted me with a smile. He answered my questions and shared his personal recommendations. As I Sat down, I asked him how his restaurant came to be in Bali of all places. He shared his inspiration came for cooking for his family. And how his brother told him of all his dishes, this is the one he should build a business around. Since Bali was a place he found peace, he moved from Jakarta and shortly after opened his restaurant. Now Laurent’s Chicken and Waffles is a local favorite and is open as late as 3 am by increasing demand from the late night crowds. I must say the flavor profile of his chicken is a wonderful treat for any palate. The chicken is marinated for 24 hours in an array of spices that I have simply never experienced. I had to order a second round before leaving. If you want to do something special for yourself today, treat yourself to an uncommon delicacy in these parts. And you too will share a smile with a master in his element.
