An extraordinary colourful, multifaceted tropical paradise nestled on the southern coast of Bali. Hatch Uluwatu. One of the best destinations in Uluwatu because the venue is incredibly colourful and beautifully designed to feel like you’re in a forest or jungle.

We came to Hatch for dinner and really enjoyed our visit! The vibe inside is really cool, and we loved the theme and atmosphere of the place. It was quite quiet when we were there, which was nice because we could still have a conversation while enjoying the music and overall ambience. There's plenty to do as well. They have Mario Kart and other games upstairs, and after dinner we had fun playing the mini golf / putting game. There was also a pool table, which added to the entertainment. The food was really good and rounded off a great evening. With the fun atmosphere, games, and tasty food, it's a great place to spend a few hours. Would highly recommend!

The Sunday market at Hatch Uluwatu is a must-do 🌿✨ Be ready though—it gets very, very busy, so don’t expect a quiet stroll. But honestly, that’s part of the vibe! There are tons of really nice stalls with clothing, jewelry, home decor, and even workshops. It’s a great place to discover local creators and unique pieces. Prices aren’t the cheapest, but the quality and originality make it worth it. And the venue itself is absolutely beautiful, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely an iconic spot to check out if you’re in Uluwatu!

Lively atmosphere in a unique setting. Loved the jewellery, paintings and passport holders. Wasn’t major for adult clothing but there was one stall that was particularly well designed !

If you're in Uluwatu over the weekend, make sure to visit the weekend market at Hatch, held every Saturday and Sunday. It's a wonderful place that brings together talented local artists and small businesses, all showcasing their beautiful handmade creations. You'll find everything from clothing, jewellery, magnets, souvenirs, spices, teas, and handmade soaps to custom artwork and so much more. Be sure to stop by Bali Fine Craft Ecoprints, where natural dyes and locally sourced leaves are used to create stunning bags, wallets, and passport holders that are truly one of a kind. It's also worth watching the incredibly talented Monica Octaviani at work as she creates beautiful custom portraits and paintings. Finally, don't miss the gorgeous textured wave and tropical-inspired artworks by Eva Yudianti, which perfectly capture the beauty of Bali. It's a fantastic way to support local artisans while discovering unique treasures to take home. This rating is based entirely on the market as I did not try the restaurant itself.

I visited Hatch for their weekend day market experience rather than the clubbing scene, and it was a great way to spend some time. The stalls were unique and had a strong local vibe, which made browsing really enjoyable. The walking space was generally adequate, though it can get quite hot, so don’t expect the most comfortable experience—especially when it comes to trying on clothes. That said, I’d still recommend checking this market out. There are plenty of cute and interesting finds, and lots of food options nearby to explore after you’re done shopping.
