Banana Lounge — A Hidden Gem in Uluwatu Banana Lounge is one of those hidden gems that you’re so happy you stumbled across in Bali. We’re staying in Uluwatu, and after only a couple of days here, we’ve already been twice—and I’m sure we’ll be back again. It’s a really cool little pool club with a great menu, excellent food, good music, and a fantastic atmosphere. The vibe has a very Soho House-esque feel to it—stylish, relaxed, and effortlessly cool without feeling pretentious. What really stood out, though, was the staff. We went for the first time at night, came back the very next day, and everyone who had been working the night before was still there. They immediately remembered us, which made us feel incredibly welcome. A big shout-out to Rival, Hendra, and Jody. All three guys were fantastic—friendly, fun, attentive, and genuinely helpful. They really added to the experience. The whole place is clean, feels safe, has a great area and atmosphere, and the value is excellent. It’s exactly the kind of place you hope to find when you travel somewhere like Bali—a little hidden spot that feels authentic, cool, and welcoming. We’re only on our second day in Bali and we’ve already been here twice. That pretty much says it all. Highly recommend Banana Lounge if you’re in Uluwatu.
View on GoogleI came to the Banana Lounge twice for lunch during a recent 3 night stay in Uluwatu. The service, food and atmosphere were all Outstanding. I had the Arancini and the Salad Nicoise on my first visit and the Ocean's Bounty on second visit. Both meals were were very good quality and delicious. The pool and the music all contributed to a nice, relaxing experience. Both time I had a Fresh Coconut followed by some Bintang Radlers. I look forward to returning to the Banana Lounge someday very soon.
View on GoogleBreakfast lovers, please come here. it’s absolutely amazing! The atmosphere is cozy, and the staff are so friendly and welcoming. But most importantly, the breakfast was incredible. Honestly, the eggs were the softest and most perfectly seasoned I’ve had in Bali. no joke. The acai bowl was beyond delicious, and the coffee… wow! Both the iced Americano and hot latte were perfect. Banana Lounge has officially become my favorite spot in Uluwatu.
View on GoogleWe had a truly tremendous day at Banana Lounge Bali today. The owners were absolutely delightful, it is family friendly and the serene setting made the entire experience feel so special. The food and drinks were exceptional — every detail was thoughtfully done. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect Mother’s Day celebration. For the day, it genuinely felt like we were living inside a luxury travel magazine.
View on GoogleA hit and miss on that one, I was disappointed I picked this place over so many nice breakkie places around. Went for breakfast, place was empty, swimming pool available. Staff was OK, but food was so disappointing. Price were pretty much double than many other places in Uluwatu, and really for poor quality and small portions. We ordered the big breakkie with salmon. Look at the photo, that’s how much salmon they put. Joke. 2 ridiculous tiny pieces. Avocado had no taste at all. Bread pieces were also ridiculous. Very disappointed, would definitely not recommend. açai bowl was also not up to standard for the price we paid. Pretty much no toppings at all.
