Abracadabra Uluwatu is a beautiful dining experience with incredible views. The booking process was seamless via WhatsApp, and the staff who assisted with reservations were very helpful and accommodating. The table service wasn't quite as attentive as what we'd become accustomed to during our time in Bali, but the food more than made up for it. The seafood is definitely the highlight. I highly recommend ordering from the seafood selection, as it's freshly delivered each morning. I'd suggest skipping the pastas and other non-seafood dishes and focusing on what they do best. There are also excellent gluten-free options, which was a huge plus. Make sure you book about three days in advance, as it's a popular spot.
View on GoogleFor what it’s worth, Abracadabra @ Mu Bungalow is saved by the restaurant’s gorgeous location. But the food quality has dropped since my last visit in October. Came back for the second time with my love and was disappointed because the food was a let down. The breadsticks served before our meal were stale — I had to ask for them to be changed, and even then, some were still stale. While the seafood and salad starters were good, both of our linguine dishes were watery. I had the tomato-based one and it lacked seasoning. We even got someone else’s dish delivered by mistake. Anyway, we ended up packing our pasta home so it wouldn’t go to waste. On food consistency, unfortunately they missed the mark. It’s a shame, because the setting truly is beautiful — but great views can only go so far when the food doesn’t deliver. Pro: efficient reservation service, great location for drinks Con: food quality
View on GoogleAn INCREDIBLE dinner for the last night of our honeymoon. Vibes, service, food, atmosphere, ocean views, all of it. Drinks and food was very high quality, and there was also live music! Price-wise was also affordable especially considering the high quality of experience.
View on GoogleThe view was superb. We recommend dining here around sunset time. Atmosphere was so great, staffs were polite and hospitable. The food could be improved :) Overall, this is a great dining experience. You will enjoy if you are big on pasta and salad (Italian cuisine)
View on GoogleGorgeous spot for extraordinary sunset views! Do book early as the tables got full quickly, esp during sunset hour. They were very responsive via WhatsApp, and were just as friendly at the restaurant! We did not try their mains and only had cocktails and desserts. The desserts were very very good however the cocktails were not comparable.. I would go back for the views and desserts but will stay away from the cocktails. I really enjoyed both the creme brûlée and chocolate cake. Compared to other sunset spots in Uluwatu, this experience was much more relaxing and cosy, as there’s no loud music and we could have comfortable conversations.
