seems like quite the popular local spot. pretty full on the night we went. food was quite good but took a while but the staff let us know that would be the case and were friendly about it. pool tables available and varied seating areas. plenty of parking. bit of a dog smell.

Absolutely amazing evening ! The food was delicious, but what really made the night unforgettable was the incredible atmosphere and the amazing people. Such a great vibe, everyone was so welcoming and friendly. We had the best time from start to finish. Honestly, one of the best restaurants in Bali, if not the best ! 100% recommend !

During our holiday in Bali, we returned to Warung Santai several times — and for good reason. It truly offered the best food we had throughout our stay. The menu strikes a perfect balance between local Indonesian favorites (like nasi goreng or the delicious brown Javanese curry) and international comfort dishes such as burgers or schnitzel — a hit with my young son. Seafood lovers will be delighted too: the shrimp tempura and stir-fried squid in oyster sauce were outstanding. But what really sets Warung Santai apart is its atmosphere. It's more than just a place to eat — it’s a place to relax, connect, and feel at home. The setting is laid-back and cozy, and the people you meet there — especially the incredibly friendly staff — make the experience even more special. Whether it’s a casual chat, a shared beer, or a game of pool, there’s always good energy in the air. Warung Santai quickly became one of our favorite spots in Bali. We can’t wait to come back.

The food was honestly all super delicious, everything was clean, the dog was adorable, and there was even a pool table — the whole place was just so pleasant and comfortable. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to. The Rawon and Tahu Isi were especially amazing. The Ayam Geprek wasn’t the kind of batter I expected, but it was still generously sized and the sauce was really tasty.

We loved spending time there with kids!!! Our villa was close by and from the first night we felt home away from home with everyone in this warung! Utri, Carla and the rest of the staff became friends more than anything and we’ve met other locals and foreigners with whom we can’t wait to reunite in Europe or Bali. Thank you again for the full stomachs and great laughter! All the best to you friends !
