Our stay at La Joya Balangan Resort was absolutely stunning. We were warmly welcomed by Loly, who personally took us to our breathtaking three-bedroom villa.The moment we walked in, we were blown away by the cliffside ocean views. Our private pool and villa space felt just as spacious as the main pool, making it perfect for relaxing with the family. The rooms were comfortable, and the open living area in the three-bedroom villa added to the unique experience—we didn’t mind it at all and actually enjoyed the open-air feel.Breakfast offered a good selection, and the staff throughout the resort were friendly and helpful, especially with arranging massages and motorbike hire.One of the highlights for our family was that the kids had daily surfing lessons with local instructors, which they absolutely loved.During our stay, we visited Sunday Beach Club, where we spent a fun-filled day with the kids. We also dined at Honditis, which lived up to its Instagram-famous reputation—the food was very good. Another highlight was visiting The Malini, where we were greeted with incredible cliffside views, fresh seafood, and a truly memorable dining experience.La Joya Balangan Resort is perfect for families looking for comfort, great service, and unforgettable views. We would happily stay again.

Everything was excellent. Staff is very friendly and efficient. Some points, though….The music at the breakfast lounge is nice in the first five or ten minutes then it gets annoying because it is the same music every day; there are some set meals for breakfast, all are delicious but limited, so, anything extra you order is charged - there are delicious fruit and coffee that you can help yourself. About my room, I didn’t like the fact that the toilet is on the other side of the room and there isn’t a washbasin in it so you have to cross the bedroom to wash hands. Changing this would be a great improvement; however, I would gladly stay here again! The pools are wonderful!

This resort is in a stunning location on a cliff overlooking balangan Bay with easy access by a set of long steps to the ocean. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and peaceful. The staff were really friendly and helpful. I loved the larger quiet pool. They also have yoga on the cliff overlooking the ocean. I would have loved to rate 5/5 except the soundproofing in the rooms is very bad as there are large gaps in the doors so depending on where your room is located it will make or break your stay. We had a bungalow by the parking/road our first night and didn't get any sleep because you can literally here everything outside. The staff were very accommodating and moved us the second night to a bungalow away from the road and then this resort became one of my favorites on our trip as it was peaceful and quiet in that area of the resort. My other reason for rating a bit lower is because they only supply you with 2 glass bottles of water in your room which housekeeping refills daily. The tap water is not drinkable in Bali and you are forever trying to stay hydrated in the heat so this is not ideal. Every other resort we stayed at supplied unlimited drinking water 24/7. There is water for purchase on site during restaurant hours but it is very overpriced. We ended up buying water from the warungs on the beach for cheap but this made for lots of unnecessary plastic waste. I would definitely stay again as the pros by far out way the cons.

Had an absolutely amazing stay at La Joya. Our bungalow was very traditional, immaculately clean with pristine linen, great ammenities and very powerful a/c.|All the meals were delicious with very fresh ingredients, loads of choice and excellent service. Two beautiful pools to choose from and perfectly maintained gardens and grounds. This property exceeded our expectations in every way! Can’t recommend La Joya enough!

It is very relaxed resort,far from commercial busy lifestyle. Comfortable with a lovely service and nice, helpful employees. Pools are awesome with magical garden/ocean views. There is nothing much around (for non surfers) but for me it made the beauty of the place. You can still order so.e masages if you need (I didn't). Food in testaurant is nice,we loved the breakfasts and plenty of choices for lunch and dinner as well.
