We had such a lovely breakfast experience, made even more special thanks to Mawa. He was genuinely warm, attentive, and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable throughout. The moment he gave my son a colouring book was such a thoughtful and heartwarming gesture. Truly exceptional service that we won’t forget. Thank you so much Mawa.

Special callout to Mr. Mawa, Ms Indah and Wulan for their fantastic hospitality, and for taking the time to write us such a wonderful celebratory card for our holiday here. They are passionate about sharing the Balinese culture and food to customers. Because of this, we made a repeated visits here in a span of 4 days to try out various dishes recommended by Mr. Mawa and his team. The Balinese dishes were authentic, exquisite and made just about right. The excellent service and attention to details Mr. Mawa and his team have shown and the atmosphere here in Segara made the whole experience exclusive. We will definitely return to Ayana and dine here at Karang again!

Breakfast at Karang was truly delightful. The variety of dishes offered was impressive, with each item prepared thoughtfully and with a clear focus on freshness and quality. From local delicacies to more familiar options, everything was well-balanced in flavor and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was calm and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a relaxed and satisfying start to the day. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, adding to the overall pleasant experience. I would definitely come back again just for the breakfast – it was that good.

Karang was where we enjoyed all our buffet breakfasts during the stay, as well as an authentic Indonesian dinner. Every meal was a delight, thanks to the wide variety of dishes and the way the flavors came together so beautifully. What made it even more special was the attentiveness of the staff—on our last day, they wished us a safe journey home, a gesture we truly appreciated. It was also heartwarming to bump into Erik, whom we remembered from our visit two years ago. There’s something so special about seeing familiar faces—it makes the experience feel personal and memorable.

Very disappointing experience. The restaurant clearly cannot handle the number of people coming in for breakfast. It’s quite small, yet attracts a large crowd, which results in long queues every morning. We had to wait around 40 minutes just to get a table, which is unacceptable for breakfast. No one wants to start their day like this. What’s even more frustrating is that when you finally get a table, you see that there are actually empty tables inside, which shows poor management of seating and guest flow. And on top of that, several menu items were not even available, which made the whole experience even worse. Overall, very poorly organized.
