An amazing Balinese cultural experience! We had a wonderful time at Kampoeng Bali. The food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the traditional Balinese setting made the experience even more special. The Kecak dance performance was absolutely mesmerizing — the music, the dancers, and the storytelling created an unforgettable moment. A special thank you to Kakak Livia and Kakak Yuditya for their warm hospitality, kindness, and excellent service. They made our visit more enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommended for anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Balinese food and culture. We will definitely come back again! 🙏✨
View on GoogleA bit of a mixed bag. We went about 8 years ago, and found the food bland and catered to foreign tastes. We were back again this week as I was bringing first time Bali visitors and we were staying at Ayana, and the location in Rimba is too convenient and the show crucial as they haven't seen any performances up close with a good view. I requested from the concierge in app for a good view, and arrived around 5:30 well in advance of the 6 pm start to ensure a good view. We were then led to a table on the back to the side of the stage, while the centre stage tables were empty, at which point I questioned the point of asking the concierge and coming early. After a few minutes we were moved to a small centre stage table, and after seeing the 5 of us struggle to fit, they moved us to a bigger table next door. Of course at 6 pm a group of foreign tourists were offered the best table next to us straight away, typical of high end resorts in Bali, forgetting their domestic lifeblood. The food is better, but maybe it was because Mr Karyasa took great care of me after mentioning to him that the food did not suit local tastes. He made a plate of babi guling for me and it did not disappoint, it rivals Karya Rebo. His babi kecap and iga babi were great too, and he truly saved Kampoeng Bali's reputation for me. The show is as excellent as I remember it 8 years ago, flies are still annoying, but Pak Karyasa is a massive standout. Kudos Pak! Terima kasih!
View on GoogleSpectacular show with rich cultural storytelling and fun crowd engagement. The actors interacted with diners (a big laugh!) and servers distributed handmade crowns and toys made of plants for kids. Fire show at the end was the big highlight for the kids with really impressive skills from performers. They have QR codes for scene explanations for each performance and subtitles on a projector in multiple languages for the audience to follow. Weather was breezy and cool even though it was outside and the location was clean and well-maintained. Food was delicious and had a good spread of meats and vegetables with delicious local desserts and icecream. They also have some local vendors selling crafts and wares payable by credit card, cash, or charged to the room if staying at Ayana. The service was exceptionally attentive at clearing plates and checking if the food was enjoyed. We are very thankful for Livia and Yuditya for taking care of us and the kiddos! If you’re in Bali don’t miss this dinner show!
View on GoogleGreat evening dinner and show while staying at Ayana estate. Buffet opens at 6 and the show starts at 7 until 8. Very convenient way to discover the Balinese culture in one evening thanks to Ayana resorts. Food from different caterings was amazing. We especially loved the klepon balls. The fire performance was our kids' favorite. Thanks bli Rio for helping with our tables. 🙏🏻
View on GoogleWe booked for the Bali Kampeong Show and Buffet for our last night at RIMBA AYANA which was a standout highlight of our stay. It’s a great night for families and our toddler daughter was fascinated by the fire dance and White Monkey in the show. She was also looked after with a high chair and served a kids meal, which she enjoyed along with some of our dishes from the buffet. Make sure you are hungry as there’s a generous selection of Satay, Indonesian salads, Baby Guling suckling pig along with a collection of condiments. We were also served some Balinese sweets for desert and there was a buffet of ice creams and sorbets. Special shout out to our attentive waitpersons Gung Kris and Livia who helped us with the highchair and kids meal. Highly recommend to book and enjoy the Kampeong Bali Experience as part of your stay!! Thanks guys, We’ll be back again 😊
