Truly a unique experience. The location is a short, rocky walk to Balangan Bay. Not walking distance to many restaurants or shops. Sometimes would wait a while for Grab. If you like want quiet, rainforest vibes, you’ll love this place. On the property is a big, clean and comfortable pool next to a restaurant that serves delicious breakfast. The bungalows are clean, well maintained, with hot water, mosquito nets, and fans. The staff were really warm and welcoming. There was construction in the morning, which was a bit noisy but it was a really relaxing and peaceful stay.

Excellent property, very near to balagan beach. This area is famous for surfing, can see so many surfing schools and surfers around. Also have good restaurants near by. These guys also arranged a scooty for rental at very affordable rate.

We have mixed feelings about this place. The aesthetics of the cabins are lovely, a super nice idea and the relaxed vibe and close proximity to the beach was great. One member of staff was much more attentive and welcoming than others, many kind of seemed not overly bothered or interested in guests. The positioning of the cabins also weren’t great in relation to the close proximity of their ‘workers/groundwork hut’ as they light a fire each morning to burn a bunch of leaves and other stuff which absolutely stinks inside the accommodation and outside in the bathroom. Not nice, it made sitting outside on the deck unbearable. We had to go out because we couldn’t cope with the smell. As others have said, it’s also very noisy, but we could tolerate this if others things were better. There is also a significant lack of light in the cabins. Luckily we brought head torches, but trying to pack and find things in your cabin once the sun has gone down (and even during the day to be honest) can be a bit of a pain. Overall, we were glad to leave after 3 nights, we wouldn’t have wanted to stay any longer.

I had the worst hotel experience of my life at Flower Bud Bungalow! Their business practices are deceptive and unfair. They have two properties, Flower Bud Bungalow I and II, but they have booked the rooms showcasing only the better property (II). Upon arrival, we were given a subpar room in Flower Bud Bungalow I with numerous issues: non-functional AC, pest infestations, and deplorable hygiene. When we pointed out the discrepancy, the owner was uncooperative and refused to relocate us to the booked property. The staff's behavior was appalling, displaying rudeness and disrespect, particularly towards Indians. It's evident that they prioritize profit over customer satisfaction and engage in discriminatory practices against indians. I strongly advise against booking this hotel to avoid a ruined trip.

I felt like I was in a different world surrounded by nature and beautiful people. Bed was so comfy. Outdoor shower was so cool. Massage on site was awesome ask for Nuri. It was 200,000 for an hour. Food at the restaurant was reasonable and staff were lovely. 3 min walk to beach and some restaurants. Hotel offers bike rent and lot of other services
