Had dinner at Damar Terrace and honestly… this was probably the best traditional setup in the whole resort. It just feels right. Open-air, proper Balinese-style layout, a bit of greenery, soft lighting—nothing forced, nothing overdesigned. Compared to some of the flashier spots, this actually feels more authentic and relaxed. Food was a standout. This is where you go for proper Indonesian dishes done well. Full flavour, good portions, and it actually tastes like what you came to Bali for—not toned down, not trying to be something else. Easily one of the better meals across the resort. The whole complex around it adds to the experience too. It’s not just a table and a plate—it feels like a setting. You sit, take your time, have a few drinks, and it just flows. No rush, no pressure. Service was smooth as well—friendly, easy, nothing over the top. What I liked most is it doesn’t try too hard. It’s confident in what it is, and that works.

From the moment we entered thru the door way we were greeted by a friendly staff member. Our table had exceptional views of the resort and ocean. The menu offerings are varied and also cater for food intolerances. We had 2 courses serving sizes are very generous and all the staff are attentive kind and observant to our needs. Excellent value and once again a 5 star experience thank you

We came for lunch at Restaurant Damar, and the experience was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we walked in, Amelia and Devina made us feel so welcome with their warm smiles and genuine friendliness. They were incredibly helpful throughout our meal, going above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. What truly stood out was that it wasn't just them – the entire staff at Damar was outstanding. Every single team member we encountered was attentive, courteous, and full of positive energy. Their great hospitality made our lunch truly memorable. Thank you, Amelia, Devina, and the whole Damar team, for such a wonderful experience!

Absolutely incredible dining experience at Damar! The food completely exceeded expectations. The Pad Thai had hands-down the best presentation of the dish I’ve ever seen, and the Beef Rendang was super tasty, packed with rich, authentic flavors that practically melt in your mouth. They also have a fantastic selection of great cocktails and mocktails. My absolute favorite was the Mount Batur—you definitely have to try it! A special shoutout to Tony and the entire team!!! Their amazing service and warm hospitality really elevated the atmosphere and made the visit unforgettable. Highly recommend stopping by if you are at AYANA!
