Visited 2 years ago & it was so wonderfully authentic Bali, that we had to return. Village atmosphere with a convenience store next door, that can fuel up your scooter. Plenty of scooter parking outside. Excellent range of local dishes and seafood. Grilled seafood is available only in the evenings from 7pm onwards. Since our first visit, the owner Agus has improved the flavour of the sauces and switched to coconut oil for the local dishes. Grilled seafood is cooked over a coconut husk fire, which gives it a lovely smokey flavour. The sambal matah is tasty! The menu has also expanded to include a range of local desserts, very tasty.
View on GoogleWe had an even more enjoyable time because the owner was so friendly and passionate. They grilled fresh seafood using coconut husks in a sustainable way, and the traditional Balinese sauces suited our Korean taste perfectly. The fried banana with cheese and caramel was absolutely delicious, and we also loved the traditional Balinese white wine. It smelled and tasted so good that we ended up ordering three glasses each! We had such a wonderful time and truly wish your business continued success. P.S. The owner looks just like the Korean actor Kim Sung-kyu! 😊
View on GoogleOne of the best places we’ve been to in Bali 🌴 Agus, the owner, is incredibly friendly and passionate, and you can truly taste it in the food. Probably the best smoked fish, prawns, and lobster we’ve had on the island! He works directly with his former fisherman colleagues, so everything is incredibly fresh every day.🤙🏽 The smoked fish, prawns, and lobster cooked over coconut-shell fire are simply amazing: tender, flavorful, with a unique smoky taste perfectly mastered. All of this in a simple, welcoming, and authentic place, far from the soulless tourist restaurants. A real hidden gem in Balangan 🐟🐙🦐🦞✨
View on GoogleThe food was delicious! We ordered the Whole Fish Package and the Nasi Campur, and both were full of flavor. The staff were friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. Highly recommend this place
View on GoogleWe ordered both the nasi goreng and the mie goreng and both were delicious! Portion sizes are generous and prices are good. Restaurant was extremely quiet when we went in but we were glad we did
