During our recent visit to Bali we had dinner at Nampu which is located in the Grand Hyatt in Nusa Dua. This was our first experience at a Japanese restaurant and it was impressive. We sat at a chef’s table which added to the experience as we watched chefs prepare the Nigiri and Sashimi. We started with the tempura prawns and chicken which were delicious. For mains we had the grilled king tiger prawns and grilled rump Wagyu skewers which were both excellent. All in all it was a great experience. The service was good and it was a good atmosphere to dine in. I would recommend knowing what some of the terms mean on the menu to help in selecting meals. We relied on our server which worked well but wished we had some prior knowledge.

A truly brilliant Restaurant to eat at 👍🏼They serve Fantastic food, beautifully prepared and made with great ingredients 😎. The menu is varied and comprehensive, serving a fantastic selection of Japanese food 👍🏼 I didn't eat anything that wasn't great, but notable items which you've got to try: - Maguro Truffle (Yellow Fin Tuna) 😍 - Tori Karaage 😍 - Gindara (Black Cod) 😍 - Mango Creme Brulee 😍 Service is very good and friendly. Tip-tip: Whilst it's advisable to book Dinner here a couple of days in advance, you can't book 'outside'. That said, if you ask when you arrive, you can usually get a table outside (even though there's on 5 tables 😳) as people dont usually ask - outside is so much nicer 😎

Very elegant Japanese style restaurant. Friendly and helpful staff. Great menu. Seating is wonderful and the menu is varied. All the food we ordered was great and tasty. The New Sealand wine was of high quality. The sushi was fresh, the karaage and the maki was wonderful. Special points go to the mango Crème Brulee and the chocolate ice cream. A place to visit again. Please make your reservation on time, it is mostly fully booked

The best sushi I've ever eaten. Everything is impeccable; not just a simple dinner but a taste experience. The fish and meat are of the highest quality, everything prepared with extreme care and dedication. The service is courteous and attentive to every request. The atmosphere is romantic!🙏🏻❤️

Amazing Wagyu dumplings. Authentic tempura. The beef tartare with ponzu was a refreshing combo, and the sashimi was very fresh. Great, lively vibe with lots of birthday celebrations. **I'm coming back for sure.**
