You notice the gap immediately: siew mai with the resigned texture of a 7-11 microwave tray; braised abalone under a thick cornstarch blanket; greens fried in enough oil to slick the plate. The roast plate combo lands lacquered but tastes muted; salmon tart is mayo and wasabi misjudgment. Taro puff and prawn cake crunch acceptably; spring-onion chicken has scallion brightness over the average texture. Cold tomatoes win: ripe, salt-balanced, refreshing. Service is non-existent; dishes appear unannounced while empty plates stacked up on the table. One mercy: no turn table limit during dinner time so you can sit past the disappointment and nurse tea. Still, Guangzhou cooks circles around this — skip unless cold tomatoes become a craving.

Very good dim sum but there's a long wait for queue number on Saturday afternoon. Suggest taking a queue number online while you shop around the whole sale centres or Onelink complex. Porridge is very good. The brinjal looks like toast. Service is prompt.

We were there in Oct 2024. Arrived to this restaurant around 10.30am and we got a table fairly quickly. However I think this place fills up fast because when we left, there was a long queue at the entrance. Yummy dim sum; good portion & fresh tasting. Service was fast and they accepted cash payment. We were a table of 6 and paid around USD100 for 19 plates of dim sum. Quite a good deal!

We had a brunch here. Queued in Meituan (got a queue number) virtually but were seated right away upon arrival. As it was so busy, we were seated in an extended annex patio. That's fine since its still covered and air conditioned. Food is not only good but also affordable. Definitely on the top of our list the next time we come to Guangzhou.

I thought it was a good sign seeing so many elderly people queuing before the restaurant opened. But damn, the food was just average. The service was great, but it still wasn’t worth the price.
