Absolutely loved this coffee place! I had the fluffy ricotta pancakes and they were super delicious. The atmosphere was really cozy and welcoming, and the coffee was amazing too. The guy working there (unfortunately I don’t remember his name) was incredibly kind. He spoke great English, gave us recommendations on places to visit, and really made the experience special. It was raining heavily outside and our taxi stopped a few meters away from the door, so he even gave us umbrellas just so we could get to the taxi without getting soaked. Such thoughtful service and a wonderful experience overall. Definitely recommend this place!

We visited in the morning. The cafe was nicely located within an alley in a residential area, giving it a quaint and homely atmosphere. A pleasant spot for photography. The cafe was kind of short-handed, so the wait was lengthy. Despite that, the service was excellent with a staff tending to us while making sure our orders are not forgotten. Our patience was well rewarded with the yummy banoffee pie and matcha latte. It’s my first time trying out a banoffee pie. It consist of the pastry enclosing caramel with slices of banana, with cream garnishing the top of the pie. The combination of the ingredients was great and the texture was smooth. Would love to ask for a second if not for our itinerary. Overall, I had enjoyed my visit. Even though the wait was long, I was pleased with the gentleman who had served us and also the pastry of course. Although not perfect, it still deserves a five-star :-)

Absolute Gem in Guangzhou! If you are looking for an incredible spot to relax, Lock Chuck is a must-visit. The cafe has a genuinely great, welcoming atmosphere that instantly makes you feel at home. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality the owners and staff are super friendly, passionate, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. On top of the amazing vibes, the food was absolutely incredible. You have to try their amazing fluffy pancakes inspired by Japan they are so light, airy, and delicious! Paired with their excellent matcha, it’s the perfect brunch combination. Couldn't recommend this place more!

One of the best cafes in town. Met Chuck, he was a great host and kind. The coffee was delicious, also we tried carrots cake and pancakes…amazing. Especially the honey comb butter on top. They offer different coffee beans origins. The staff were welcoming and fast.
