2025 August 4.5★ Amazing soup. Small shop on the streets with very little seating. 龜苓膏 $8 great texture. Rich in flavor. Very bouncy. 水魚 $26 水鴨 $20 Soups were both amazing. Fragrant coconut and rich and flavourful. Pictures tell it all. Would recommend. Would come again.

From the store’s wall, it was on Michelin-rated list from 2018 through to 2024. Rustic environment, low prices, and good quality soup explain why this store is so popular. Ordered duck soup at RMB20, and chicken soup in coconut husk at RM25. Very few tables, so had takeaway instead.

Not bad, not something I would rave about as prefer other range of Cantonese soups. First taste has a hint of coconut sweetness to it. Small place but fast turnaround.

The first time I tried the soup was in 2005! Haven’t forgotten it since! I think it got its Michelin Guide mention in 2008. Definitely a local favourite! You’re there more for the taste than the dining experience 🙈 I ordered the silkie chicken soup that is stewed in the coconut. The soup is sweet as there’s also goji berries. So tasty and refreshing from the coconut water. If you enjoy soups, this is a must try! Always a line up but it moves quickly. Cash friendly ✌🏻
