Came here for dinner in November recently. Visited Guangzhou for 7 days for some sightseeing and gourmet food tour with primary school classmates. Most of the restaurants we went to are not listed in Maps. And most are just satisfactory, maybe 3 were outstanding. This restaurant Shunde cuisine is just ok, the roast goose is good. Food presentation here is good.

This is one of the most famous Shunde’s cuisine restaurant in Guangzhou which serves traditional congee hotpot and other local dishes such as “Chan’s village rice noodle” and fish head. The signature thing to highlight should be the extremely friendly and supportive staff. They are really caring even minor parts of the customers and making everyone satisfy.

The food here is excellent. They however, do not speak any amount of English and we had to communicate with body language. Would highly recommend the duck as it is there delicacy. Probably the most premium restaurant in the area, although the price point is also correspondingly more expensive.

Food quality is good but the cashier attitude the worst ever. Being a foreigner the restaurant cannnot accept the credit card or cross border AliPay…Been asking the cashier any alternative way to make payment but cashier shouted and asked “what do u wan”…totally insane wanner make payment but get shout..luckily got another staff show good attitude to assist..

Very nice to try real Chinese food and the fish food is fresh fresh ! Recommend
