2023.3.27 Driving from Zhuhai to Guangzhou for a one-day family visit. Left early in the morning, finished the gathering, and on the way back to Zhuhai it was about 1 PM. Didn't eat much for brunch, so I planned to find a place to eat near the highway entrance before getting on the highway. Drove for about 30 minutes and found a farm restaurant right at the highway entrance on the map. It was already past 1:30 PM, so I went straight there without thinking. Arrived at the front door and felt confident, asked if lunch service was over, the staff smartly replied that they were still serving. Parked the car and went in. Although it was the end of the lunch rush, the staff reminded me that dim sum was still available but I had to be quick. Ended up ordering a few side dishes and a soup. Thought the soup might be a trap, especially since after traveling to Zhongshan, Shunde, and Zhuhai a few times after the pandemic, I felt the prices at roadside restaurants were abnormally high. Unexpectedly, this place was great, the price was right, the taste and quality were good, and the soup was only a few dozen yuan but super full of ingredients. Even with pork prices being high nationwide, they put big chunks of meat in the soup, it was the best. No need to go specifically for it, but if you happen to pass by, it's definitely worth a 20-30 minute stop!
