This place is a must visit if you're in Guangzhou! The ticket is free and it has the entire railway history in China! Quite park to walk, cycling, even for yoga and meditation.

As about as good as you can get for a railway museum - once again showing that Guangzhou knocks it out of the park when it comes to museums. Learnt a lot about the early railway and trains in China, the first network in Guangzhou, and examples of the high speed trains of today (which I have taken - and are great!) Informative and colourful - excellent for the train nerd and the normie alike - I am not sure which category I'd put myself there - but a nice few hours. Also cool that you can walk inside some of the older trains parked outside - and with the setting beside the river, on a lovely autumn day with the sun going down - fantastic!

Free entry, register at entrance with passport, not crowded. Open 9am to 5pm daily except Mondays, last entry 4:30pm. Exhibits in Chinese, minimal English. We spent about an hour here.
