Love the hot double milk curd 传统凤凰炒奶糊, the ginger milk curd 南信姜汁撞奶, and sesame paste ball 石磨黑芝麻糊汤丸. We added red beans to our hot double milk curd and it was good. Also added ginger juice for that spicy taste of the ginger milk curd as ginger is great for health and digestion. The wanton noodles 上汤新鲜土猪肉净云吞 and rice noodles roll 韭王鲜虾布拉肠粉 were great too even though it is known for their desserts. The wanton are big with lots of ingredients. The skin of the rice noodles rolls were very thin, and it was filled with lots of ingredients. Very tasty. We got a seat quite quickly even though the place was full house, and we visited twice. View on GoogleNan Xin Milk Desserts Expert is a well-known dessert shop in Guangzhou’s historic Liwan district, celebrated for its authentic Cantonese milk-based treats and traditional preparation methods. The shop has a simple, nostalgic atmosphere, often bustling with locals and visitors who come specifically for its signature milk desserts. During our visit, we ordered the pistachio dessert and the classic steamed milk pudding. The pistachio dessert stood out with its rich, nutty flavor and creamy consistency. It offered a slightly modern twist compared to traditional options, with a smooth texture and balanced sweetness that wasn’t overpowering. The subtle aroma of pistachio added depth, making it both indulgent and refreshing. The steamed milk pudding, on the other hand, showcased the shop’s mastery of tradition. It was incredibly silky and soft, with a gentle, natural sweetness that highlighted the freshness and quality of the milk. Each spoonful felt light yet satisfying, delivering a comforting, melt-in-the-mouth experience. Together, these two desserts perfectly represent the blend of innovation and heritage that defines Nan Xin Milk Desserts Expert, making it a must-visit for dessert lovers exploring Liwan.
View on GoogleThe double milk layer actually tasted quite good. I didn’t queue for it—I just got a seat after visiting Shamian Island. It’s worth giving it a try.
View on GoogleThis spot is very popular and often crowded, so be prepared to share a table. While the general food was just okay, the desserts are truly outstanding! We highly recommend the double skin milk dessert, which was beautifully executed. The star, however, was the black sesame and glutinous rice ball dessert. The sesame paste was perfectly done—not overly sweet, and possessing the ideal consistency (neither too thick nor too diluted).
View on GoogleOne of the old traditional guangzhou desert shop that serve authentic old Cantonese desert. Location is central, shop has got plenty of table and seats, staff are friendly and environment is with air conditioning that make the dining experience comfortable and cooling. Nice choice. Desert very generous. We ordered pomelo mango with sago (杨支甘露)black seaseme with glutonous rice ball and cold peach gum with white fungus; all super good and delicious. Remember to be seated on 2nd floor as it is cooling and comfortable. Staff are friendly too. Highly recommende👍👍👍
