This historic site is still functioning. Local Cantonese Opera artists usually have their daily rehearsal at noon, which is open to the public. If there are no special performance going on, you can go in and have a taste of Canton opera.

Guangdong Bahe Guild Hall is the gathering place for Cantonese opera for a hundred years. Opera troupe colleagues pass on their skills and exchange ideas here, allowing Lingnan opera to be passed down from generation to generation. Stepping into the guild hall, I saw many exhibition materials, opera instruments, etc., which reminded me of my mother and grandmother often mentioning this name when I was a child, and a long list of names of 'great opera stars'.
