Xing Pavilion: Built by Xing She students in 1928 to commemorate three teachers and students, Shi Jianru, Ou Lizhou, and Xu Yaozhang. Shi was a martyr of the Xinhai Revolution, and Ou and Xu were martyrs of the 1925 Shaji Massacre. The pavilion is a classical Chinese building designed by Henry Murphy. The current plaque was written in 1981 by Professor Shang Chengzuo, a professor at Sun Yat-sen University and a famous calligrapher and paleographer.
